If you are reading this, I imagine you will have by astute power of deduction, linked my surname and the company name to conjecture that these may correlate.

I am Patrick Cullen, the Director of Music for Cullen's Music. I would first like to humbly thank you for taking the time to browse and take in the insight our site has to offer, into both our ethos and services. 

​

So, where to begin?

​

I could expand on a generic rendition of why music  is so brilliant, but you already know that. The truth is, music has the potential to define each and every element of our lives.  Our celebrations, those quiet moments, fun with our friends or listening to our favourite musical artists.  It can represent special moments, joy, happiness and sorrow. Developing a command of music enables us to express our emotions in every aspect of our lives which, no other medium can convey with the same intensity.

Immersion in musicality, for me, has been present in my life as long as I can recall in memory. I continue in the wake of the legacy of my mother who, similarly, is a teacher of music and the performing arts. I attained both a music and drama scholarship and later an ARSM teaching diploma from the Royal School of Music, as well as numerous accolades in my instruments of choice, the piano, the guitar and the violin. My personal interests differ greatly from my line of work and include world history, naval and military history, and vehicles of all descriptions.

Cullen's Music is the product of both my personal passion for music and belief in providing the technical knowledge necessary to permit those who share in that same passion to express themselves through the art.

​

I hope that this is not the case, but if you find yourself in a sad place in your life, music can be the light in your life once again. Engrossing yourself in music is an enriching and rewarding hobby that allows you to express yourself. We aim to, not only develop a lasting professional teacher- student relationship, but to provide a safe and independent space for you to thrive and express yourself as we accompany you on your musical journey.
